- Rajan A. Applasamy graduated with a Bachelor of Laws LL.B (Hons) from University of London and Certificate of Legal Practice (Malaya).
- He also holds a Diploma in Business Administration from The Institute of Commercial Management,UK.
- He was called to the bar on 18-10-1996 and commenced practice from 1-11-1996. Prior to that he was an Office Manager from 1984 to 1996.
- He became a partner of Messrs Maxwell Kenion Cowdy & Jones in 2002.
- He practices in the field of General Litigation including in the fields of Insurance Law, Industrial Law, Labour Law, Share Broking Transactions, Company Law, Banking Law, Will Writing, Estate, Probate and Administration matters.
