- Mr. Danial Rahman is a seasoned legal practitioner with over two decades of experience in the legal industry. Since joining Maxwell Kenion Cowdy & Jones in 2001, he has built a strong reputation in both civil and Islamic finance law. His educational background includes a Master’s in Islamic Finance Practice from INCEIF, The Global University of Islamic Finance (2017-2020), and a Bachelor of Law from the International Islamic University Malaysia (1994-2000), providing him with deep insights into both conventional and Shariah-compliant financial systems.
- In addition to his professional practice, Mr. Danial has been actively involved in various legal and professional organizations. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals (CIIF) since March 2017, reflecting his commitment to advancing Islamic finance practices. He also served as a Council Member of the Malaysian Bar (2016-2018) and held the position of Chairman of the Perak Bar from 2016 to 2018, demonstrating his leadership within the legal community. His contributions to legal governance include serving as a Committee Member of the Perak Bar from 2008 to 2018 and as a Member of the Perak Appeals Board under PLAN MALAYSIA (2017-2023).
- Currently, Mr. Danial is a member of the Advocates and Solicitors Disciplinary Board, a role he has held since July 2023, where he plays a crucial role in maintaining ethical standards within the legal profession. His diverse experience and strong leadership make him a valuable asset to both his firm and the broader legal community.
